About Me

Hi, my name is T-Jay. I am a person-centred trained therapist. Alongside, my therapy work, I am also an addiction and mental health recovery worker, which has given me valuable experience supporting people through complex life challenges.
I see myself first and foremost as a regular human being who understands that life can be difficult at times. I aim to be down-to-earth, approachable and genuine, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

How I Work

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to face things alone. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is going on for you. I will walk alongside you in your counselling journey, helping you reconnect with your own values, strengths and sense of self-worth.
I believe that no one knows you better than you. My role is to support you in making sense of your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you.

Areas I Work With

I have experience supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, including:

Trauma
Addiction and recovery
Anger and emotional regulation
Low self-esteem
Relationship difficulties
Life stress and personal challenge
Anxiety
Stress
Work-related issues
Domestic Abuse
Depression

Through my training, experience and ongoing self-care, I can hold space for difficult and painful experiences such as trauma or abuse. Nothing you bring to therapy is off limits.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work within the BACP ethical framework (2018)
